About ‘Angie’ Thibodeaux

Angie Thibodeaux is a proud resident of the Acres Homes community where she has served in the role of Acres Homes Super Neighborhood Council President.  She has worked in both public and private sectors on key issues impacting communities across the country.  She is a former Vice President of Bank of America and a GMAC Executive where she worked for many years fighting affordable housing initiatives.

She has personally assisted over 1,000 families in foreclosure prevention.  She fought hard to ensure that lending institutions reduce foreclosures thereby ensuring more families remain in their homes.  She continues this fight today as we tackle the high cost of rents and provide access to affordable housing for working class families.  She looks forward to working with the City of Houston's new Mayor John Whitmire on a transitional plan to our incarcerated men and women pre-release back into our communities to ensure they have skills training and a trade to advance them into employment.  Angie Thibodeaux was also one of the very few who during the pandemic was still hosting virtual job fairs to ensure employment for workforce sustainability.  To date, Angie Thibodeaux continues to be a resource for job creation in our community.  Thibodeaux continues to advocate a plan for transitional services and support to end homelessness and to get sustainable housing for our homeless population.  Today, Thibodeaux spends her time bringing forth awareness to our seniors on services and funding available to remodel their homes in need of repair due to safety and health risks.  While at the same time servicing as a dedicated Mother and President of the Fallbrook Church “Ignite” School’s Parent Connection Committee.  Not to mention Thibodeaux is not shy about writing, as an author, her book "Change Your MF Mind" can be found on both Amazon and Barnes & Noble.  The future looks bright for this State Representative top candidate contender.  Let's Make it Happen!  Let's Geaux with Angie Thibodeaux.  Now you know...
